90% of the time, with a band, we will record the drums and bass first, then the guitar parts, followed by the keys and voices. Other sounds can be at any point. Don't assume that mistakes will be fixed in the mix down stage, even though it is quite possible, to a degree.
The best sound will come from the source, this being you! Take it serious, but don't forget to have a fun and relaxed recording session. Enjoy it!
We do strongly recommend you visit our Alchemix recording studo, if you are looking to do a release recording.
This gives us a chance to talk about how best to capture your sound, under the given timeline and budget, especially if you have any extra requirements, eg. studio musician hire, gear hire, abnormal booking times etc.
The last reassurance you get when visiting us, is the fact that what you see is what you get.
We are no bedroom studio, (unlike our humble beginnings in 1997), but a dual studio facility, of professional construction.
